For more then 20 years now I play the violin in several bands and some other music projects. At the age of eight I started to play the classical violin, but since my very early twenties a lot has changed. It all started with my first band This Leo Sunrise in 2005, the love of my life. My activities grew rapidly with participating in the Dutch poetry-pop band Zapperdeck, composing a soundtrack for a short film called Witte Dieren, recording and touring with Bart van der Lee and in 2013 I co-founded the dark soundscape group Graeae. And I have been working on some solo stuff with the theremin. With some friends we explore the musique concrète style with NoirEau (no violins involved!) And of course with the lovely Gilbert, we sing some songs together now and then. And still, more and more to come! I’m open for musical collaborations. I love improvising and other musical adventures like recording, performing and especially touring!
