My violin is a German one, built in Markneukirchen in 1903. This town was known as the ‘Cremona of Sachsen’ because of it’s long history of making high quality brass and string instruments. I love the warm and rich sound of the instrument!
The bow is also manufactured (somewhere) in Germany and it’s made from Pernambuco wood, unsigned.
I play on a nice amplifier for acoustic instruments, the Strawberry Blonde (SWR), she produces a beautiful sound and looks lovely as well…
…and of course I’ve got some nice effect pedals, but let’s keep some things a bit mysterious….
